The compilers of this Blog really cannot stake claim to its originality. It has been compiled from the knowledge and experience of untold number of people who have lived and are living now and the heuristic (experimental) understanding of life by the compiler and his loving and caring wife, Vinita.
Credit needs to be given to the great souls of Ved Vyas, writer of the Vedas, Bhagavad Gita and many other works, Buddha, Adi Sankaracharya, Ramanamaharishi, Swami Tapovan, Swami Chinmayananda, Swami Raganathan, J. Krishnamurthi, Jean-Paul Sartre, Osho, Dr. Joseph Murphy and many others. They or their disciples have left a rich written heritage of their knowledge and experience for our guidance.
Living legends like Swami Dayananda, Swami Tejomayananda, Swami Atmananda Saraswati, Swami Sukhbodhananda, Dr. Wayne Dyer, Eckhart Tolle, Dr. Deepak Chopra, Nassim Nicholas Taleb, Daniel Kahneman, Neale Donald Walsch, B. K. Shivani, Lissa Rankin MD, Thich Nhat Hanh, Scott Adams, Liz Vaccareillo, Shefali Tsabary PhD, and many others have been working hard to spread their knowledge, experience and understanding across all regions of this world!
There is no specific ‘ism’ in this blog like Buddhism, Hinduism or any other religion or cult! It is purely a personal discovery, understanding and acceptance of who we are at the present moment! Most of the contents are based on observations of human behaviour and the awareness that similar behaviour patterns are present in many of us including the compilers!
The compilers are Gul Malani and his wife, Vinita Malani. Gul has a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Michigan, USA. He was a Gold medalist, top student, in the Graduate Bachelor’s course of Engineering from Osmania University, Hyderabad, India.
During his schooling at a residential Public School in Hyderabad, he started seeking answers to many questions that arose from within. One of the books he read very early in his quest was “Discovering Ourselves”. Studying Indian Scriptures via Ramakrishna Mission, Chinmaya Mission and lately Vedanta Mission and reading various books of Masters formed the platform from where introspection began and the life’s puzzle started falling in place.
Vinita Malani has an honours degree in Political Science. She has brought up three beautiful, able and confident children besides being a Director of Finance in a specialised safety equipment manufacturing company jointly owned by our family with a well known German business family. She has a keen insight into human behaviour and has been an equal partner in preparing and updating this blog!
This Blog started as notes made to share the revelations with our niece from Kentucky, USA who had come for a holiday to Mumbai in June, 2011, but spent quite a bit of her time discussing life situations and how to handle them. The notes were made so that she would have something to remind her when she returned back to USA after her Indian holiday.
This Blog was setup by our daughter and son-in-law in March, 2012. They continue to inspire us to update and add new posts from time to time.
As and when there is some revelation from meditation or the present moment situations, we add or revise an existing post of the blog or add a new post with the hope it will help a few more of us to live life fully and in real freedom by discovering, experimenting, and understanding life!
In this endeavour, everyone’s comments will further enhance the beauty of this effort for the revelation of life. So, please do post your comments for the benefit of others as well as us!
Yours in service,
Vinita & Gul Malani

Not yet a Swami! Glad that you spared the time to visit the blog!
Dear Sir,
It was wonderful to meet you and your better half at the Peace event at Vile Parle(W) last week. It is a pleasant surprise to note that both of us are alumni of Osmania University, the same branch – Mechanical Engg. I am going through your posts and must admit, to a newbie like me, it is a wonderful read.
Warm regards,
Sridhar B, Kharghar
Thanks, I am also amazed at the coincidence that we have graduated from the same University!Glad also, that you are going through the blog and are finding it worthwhile your while to read it!
Hello Ms M. Gul MALANI I think your adress had to change can you give me your new address
FRANZETTI Raymond ( FRANCE )
My dear Gul,
I am so happy that I found your name, your blog and this site! I have been looking for you from 1967. You were one of the most brilliant students I ever had when at 22, I started teaching Mech Engg at Osmania. The only info I could get about you in the past 40+ years is that you were in Chicago and then moved to Pune to join your father’s company. I can’t believe I have finally found you. I have kept in touch with a few of your classmates: Habib, Balkishan,&c.
Just today, Badri Narayan (Ann Arbor, MI) happened to mention that you are in Mumbai. I found your site from Google. I moved to the US in Aug 67 and have been living in Sugar Land (suburb of Houston) from 1974. I lived in Beijing (3 years) and Buenos Aires (1 year) and spent time in Rio several times, but my home has always been in Sugar Land.
I am so happy that you are spiritually so awakened and became an inspiration for many people. Your blogs are awesome and a source of peace and contentment. Please do write to me when you can. my e-mail: nagraje@gmail.com. May God bless you and your wife, Vinitaji for many years of spiritual study and realization and inspiration to others!
